Sony Playstation 3 has been the topic of conversation for a long time. Now with the PS3 release only days away here in the US the buzz has turned into a roar!

Sony's release in Japan of only 100,000 consoles on November 11 was worldwide news. And better news was that Sony cut the price after feedback from Japanese gamers.
Unfortunately the price drop appears to only be for the Japanese PS3 release. So what will the cost be for US gamers?
The 20 gig Playstation 3 will retail for $499 while the 60 gig PS3 will retail for $599. The 60 gig console will also include built-in Wi-Fi connectivity as well as a built-in Blu-ray next-generation DVD player making it worth the extra money.

While Sony is rolling out fewer Playstation 3 consoles than they had anticipated they're list of games available in conjunction with the launch is 20 deep. More than typically are available when a new console gaming system hits the stores.
The quality of the titles is also very good making it hard to resist picking up a PS3 sooner rather than later.

Due to the small quantity of of the console made available for the US release there will be no shortage of long lines. On forums across the Internet there are discussions of "camping out" on sidewalks in front of stores like Walmart and other electronics retailers.

Prediction! If you go to Walmart on Nov. 18th looking for a PS3 you will leave empty handed.
